Frank Thomas was the first Notre
Dame football graduate to coach at a major Southern school. In 15 years
at Alabama his teams won 79% of there games (115-24-7). He is second only
to Paul W. Bryant in wins at Alabama. During his tenure at the Capstone
Thomas took six teams to bowls games winning four of them.
